What is SignalSync?​

SignalSync is a no-code Business Process Management (BPM) platform that enables business analysts and consultants to design, deploy, and manage enterprise applications without traditional programming. Built on modern microservices architecture, SignalSync combines powerful visual tools with enterprise-grade capabilities to accelerate digital transformation.

Core Components​

Graphical Workflow Engine (GWE)​

The Graphical Workflow Engine is SignalSync's central application for end-to-end process management. GWE encompasses integrated features that cover the complete workflow lifecycle—from design and form creation, through deployment and execution, to analysis and reporting:

1. Visual Process Designer: BPMN-based process designer with drag-and-drop functionality that allows you to model complex business processes without writing code. The designer supports standard BPMN elements, conditional logic, parallel processing, and integration with external systems.

2. Custom Form Designer: An intuitive drag-and-drop interface that enables users to create sophisticated custom forms and user interfaces without programming knowledge. The Form Designer provides a comprehensive library of field types including text inputs, selects, dates, file uploads, entity relationships, signatures, and calculated fields. Forms are organized with layout elements such as titles, separators, and pageable sections for multi-step processes. The designer supports complex data capture scenarios including embedded tables for line-item entry (such as work logs, parts and supplies, labor details) and conditional field visibility based on workflow context.

3. Management Console: A centralized administration interface where administrators configure and publish workflows for end-user access. Enables workflow combination, field configuration, profile-based deployment, and real-time monitoring of process metrics including request volumes, pending items, and closure rates.

4. Report Generator: A flexible analytics tool for creating customized reports based on published workflows. Supports multiple visualization types, configurable filtering and grouping, statistical aggregations, time-series analysis, and role-based access control for secure report sharing.

Rule Chains​

Integration module for connecting external systems and APIs. Rule Chains enable seamless data exchange between SignalSync and third-party applications, databases, and services through a visual configuration interface.

Master Data Management​

Foundation data management system that provides centralized storage and governance of reference data used across SignalSync applications. Master Data includes:

  • Location Hierarchy: Geographical Locations hierarchy and detailed Location records for organizing physical spaces
  • Asset Management: Asset Categories and individual Asset records for tracking equipment and resources
  • Organization & Personnel: Organization structures and Employee directories

Master Data serves as the authoritative source for dropdown lists, entity relationships, and data validation in both GWE workflows and Rule Chains integrations. This ensures data consistency, reduces duplication, and maintains referential integrity across all business processes configured in the platform.


By leveraging these Core Components, users can rapidly design and deploy complete business applications including workflows, management consoles, reports, and external system integrations—without writing code.
SignalSync includes a pre-configured Facility Management application as a ready-to-use reference implementation, featuring Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance workflows that can be deployed immediately or customized to specific organizational needs.
